The Westin Nanjing Hot Spring Resort

The Westin is much more crowded than Autograph Collection Hotels, going from quiet to a children's paradise in an instant. It really is a family-friendly hotel. The Westin has a children's play area and provides disposable slippers, toothbrushes, etc. for children. They really consider the needs of children. Because it was crowded, we didn't get a suite upgrade with a private hot spring, only a room with a private hot spring and a view. It's much smaller than the private hot spring at Autograph Collection Hotels. I recommend a regular room with a bathtub. Interestingly, guests at Autograph Collection Hotels can use the outdoor hot springs and swimming pool at the Westin, but Westin guests cannot use the domed hot spring at Autograph Collection Hotels. The room layout is a bit smaller than at Autograph Collection Hotels, but the view is more beautiful. Because of the crowds, especially with many children, you need to go early for breakfast, otherwise, you might have to wait for refills. However, the food is much more varied than at Autograph Collection Hotels and more suited to Chinese tastes. The service is also more proactive and enthusiastic. There are two outdoor hot spring pools, both covered, so you don't have to worry about rain. In short, if you're a couple, go to Autograph Collection Hotels across the street for more privacy and a larger private hot spring. If you have children, definitely come to the Westin. It has a kids' area, a paradise for children.
