This hotel truly delivers on quality.

I chose this hotel based on three factors: 1. I was captivated by its movable type printing theme. 2. Its proximity to Niushou Hill in Nanjing. 3. I had never stayed there before. My overall experience was quite comfortable. You can tell the owners invested in the property, as both the product selection and design are excellent. Common Areas The art installation in the lobby captures the magnificent momentum of the Yangtze River. The high ceiling and long, narrow layout feel a bit cramped and cluttered. The reception desk is on the mezzanine level and is quite ordinary. The floor design leans towards a Chinese style. The atrium in the middle of the corridor features stone lion pillars resembling hitching posts and decorations reminiscent of ancient imperial robes. Room Design The room incorporates many elements of movable type printing, such as the screen partitions, trays, and decorations in the headboard and washroom areas. The screen showcases Li Bai's poem "Ascending the Stork Tower" using movable type printing, depicting the ancient city of Jinling, blending history with the present. Room Amenities All the amenities are excellent. The tea set is from Asianera, and the bone china is truly beautiful and high-quality! The toiletries are from ACCA KAPPA. The washroom is equipped with a foldable mirrored table and chair, perfect for blow-drying your hair. The room also includes a bathtub. The toilet/sink ceramics are from Duravit, and the bathroom fixtures are from Gessi. The bedding and bathrobes are very comfortable, and the bathroom is spacious. The soundproofing is also excellent, ensuring a quiet environment (even I, a light sleeper, slept very well). Lying in bed, you can enjoy the sunset and the high-altitude river view, which is quite lovely. The minibar is complimentary on the first night, a value-added benefit that seems to be increasingly common in hotels. The minibar includes illy coffee capsules and TWG tea bags. Jumeirah maintains its quality, and the overall experience is very comfortable. However, I didn't experience much personalized service, perhaps because I haven't reached a certain membership level. But the regular check-in experience was good. The breakfast offered a wide variety and was of a decent standard.
