Nanjing's first exhibition showcasing emotions and feelings: After the Lights Go Out

I love visiting art exhibitions in my spare time. Every time I stop, I gain new insights and feel a touch to my soul. The theme of the current exhibition at the Simi Art Museum is "After the Lights Go Out." It features colorful emotional spaces from artists from six countries, using artistic creation as an important medium of expression to express the true power of life. ✔️The exhibition begins with Yu Yu's "The Unbearable Weight" on the first floor. In the black space of Exhibition Hall 1, she wears silk embroidered "three-inch golden lotus" shoes from the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China, walking back and forth 14 times on 3.67-meter-long rice paper. The distance of more than 50 meters is the walking range of the inner courtyard of ancient buildings, and also the activity space of women in that era. The shoe prints stained with cinnabar are like bloodstains, telling the unspeakable pain experience. ✔️The balloon fragments pierced by modern egg retrieval needles silently express the pain of women from the outside to the inside, which is particularly shocking. ✔️The second floor features a scene installation of "Being Yourself and Being Happy," which is an interactive area where you can sit on the carpet and listen to your inner voice with headphones, or take beautiful photos of positivity and happiness in certain corners. Emotions are not a problem. They are the language of the heart, proof that life still has warmth.
