Zhan Garden is one of the four major gardens in Jiangnan, and its wintersweet is a highlight of Chinese aesthetics. Now is the best time to visit. Visitors say the wintersweet is the highlight of Zhan Garden and the day. The fragrance is so strong that you won't want to leave. Wintersweet photo spots: Yilan Pavilion: After entering Zhan Garden, go through the small door on the left and follow the corridor to the second-floor Yilan Pavilion. The wintersweet can be photographed from three sides, with backgrounds of lattice windows, flower windows, eaves, or white walls. Many people take portraits here. Peony Terrace: This courtyard is relatively open and suitable for portraits. The combination of wintersweet, white walls, and lake stones is also charming. Suihan Pavilion: Across the water from Suihan Pavilion is a large area of wintersweet in full bloom. You can frame the distant rockery, corridor, pavilion, lake, and black swans. This is my favorite wintersweet spot, and I had a great time taking photos. There is also wintersweet in front of Yingying Yishui, and the eaves and cats make for great photos.
