Good places to go on weekends in Nanjing | Finally went hiking in Fangshan

|Finally went hiking in Fangshan. Good places to go on weekends in Nanjing | Finally went hiking in Fangshan Navigation: Fangshan Scenic Area, Jiangning District Transportation: Take bus No. 812/803 or subway (if it is not convenient, you can ride a bike or drive) Opening hours: 7:30-16:00 (all day) Tickets: Free Route to the mountain: Dinglin Temple (be sure to visit the Heavenly King Hall, it is very spectacular and you can take photos from all angles) - Go up the slope behind the temple and walk through Eighteen Bends - Tea Garden - Glass Observation Deck (the best place to watch the sunrise) As a Jiangning native, I haven’t climbed Fangshan Mountain for more than ten years. This time I brought my two little brothers to the top. There was a section of stairs that was very steep and the children had to use their hands and feet. If you are not familiar with the place, you must take the main road to avoid getting lost. Note: Wear comfortable sneakers, the path is mostly flat but there is a short flight of stairs which is quite steep. Be sure to keep a close eye on children when you bring them. Wear long pants as there are many mosquitoes. There is a large grassland at the foot of Mifang Mountain where you can prepare a tent and picnic mat for camping and watch the sunrise and sunset. If you are lucky in the morning, you may see a fox. Well, the whole journey took about two hours, we took two wrong turns, and the kids took a rest and played. There was still some energy left to go down the mountain, so each person carried a stick.
