Nanjing Family Hiking: Yuhuatai

When I was a child, I occasionally got a piece of Yuhua stone, which was crystal clear and colorful. I loved it so much that I became interested in Yuhuatai. If you go to Nanjing, it is a good idea to take your children hiking. There are three places to climb in Jiangnan, and Yuhua is one of them. Don't miss it. ❤Recommended reasons: This mountain has six functional areas: a scenic spot area, a martyrs' cemetery area, a Yuhua stone culture area, a Yuhua tea culture area, a recreational activity area, and an ecological dense forest area. 🕙Opening hours: Yuhuatai Scenic Area is open daily from 8:00 to 17:00 (last entry at 17:00). Yuhuatai Martyrs Memorial Hall is open daily from 8:30 to 16:00 (closed on Mondays, except for national holidays, last entry at 16:00). Tickets: Free reservation 🚉Transportation: Subway: 500 meters east from Exit 3 of Zhonghuamen Station on Line 1. ⏳Visiting time: Half a day Recommended route Suggested route: Enter from the north gate Martyrs' Execution Sculpture → Monument → Central Memorial Area (Central Axis) → "The Internationale" Screen Wall "National Anthem" Screen Wall → Memorial Bridge → Yuhuatai Martyrs Memorial Hall → Zhonghunting Square Yuhua Tea Culture Area → Yuhua Stone Culture Area (under renovation when we went, not sure about now) → Famous Martyrs' Tomb Erzhong Temple (Yang Bangyi, a hero of the Southern Song Dynasty against the Jin Dynasty, and Wen Tianxiang, a hero against the Yuan Dynasty) Qianlong Imperial Stele (During the reign of Qianlong, he went to Jiangnan six times and Yuhuatai three times) ➡️ Yuhua Pavilion (Buddhist culture, legend has it that it was the place where Master Yunguang preached.
