Weekend with Kids｜Nanjing Dragon Drifting Babysitter-Level Guide

Dun Dun Dun, the temperature in Nanjing has started to break 30℃! It's time to arrange drifting with kids 😀～ Without further ado, here are some tips from our personal drifting experience with kids: ✅ Make sure to choose a sunny day with temperatures above 30℃. The shading on the drifting course is very good, so it won't be hot! If the temperature is too low, the kids might get cold when wet. ✅ Start early, start early, start early! During holiday weekends, Dragon Drifting is a very popular spot, and if you go late, you'll have to queue for parking. ✅ There are two types of drifting: full drift and half drift. Kids over 1.2m tall can try the full drift, which takes about 1 hour. The half drift takes about 30 minutes and is more suitable for younger kids. We did the half drift. ✅ The drifting ticket includes the amusement park ticket, and you can enter and exit the amusement park twice with the ticket. If you want to play in the amusement park after drifting, remember to put the ticket in a waterproof bag. ✅ Water guns with metal rods are not allowed; they will be confiscated. Either bring a plastic rod water gun or just use a water scoop! However, we didn't use the water scoop we prepared in advance; you can participate in an activity at the visitor center to get a water scoop. ✅ It's recommended for children to wear swimsuits as they dry quickly, paired with water shoes that are not afraid of getting wet. After drifting, it's convenient to wear them to take a shower. For younger kids, add a swim diaper, which can be thrown away after drifting. ✅ After drifting, you will queue for a shuttle bus to the shower area, which takes a few minutes. If you're worried about the kids getting cold, you can prepare a towel or blanket in a sealed bag and bring it along while drifting. We also wrapped the sealed bag with a plastic bag and tied it tightly, so it didn't get wet at all. Other kids on the shuttle bus were quite envious of our kid having a blanket to wrap up in. Honestly, I really love that Nanjing has such a fun drifting activity! It's perfect for bringing kids during the hot summer! Although we did the half drift, we played with the kayak and water for a long time midway, so the whole drifting experience was very long! We'll definitely bring the kids again next time!
