Nanjing Jinling Sheraton🏨 ||This is a hotel that opened in the last century. The exterior, lobby, and elevators all have a strong sense of age. Once again, I took a red-eye flight that landed in the early morning, so I booked a night at this Sheraton for a few hundred yuan. This time, I stayed in a panoramic suite. It seems that they started renovating in batches since 2018. This room should be one of the first batches to be renovated. It still maintains the old official style but is noticeably more stylish. The newly renovated rooms have a high-end Fairfield Inn feel. But after all, it's a Sheraton, so the various amenities are up to standard. The lounge offerings are also decent. I would still love to experience the newly renovated rooms if I get the chance. Their elevator is quite interesting. You have to swipe your card and call the elevator at a round table at the elevator entrance. It has a scenic elevator, which is a pretty good experience. The lounge HH is always crowded, which seems to be the norm, but the offerings are still good. The 60-square-meter suite feels a bit cramped and lacks partitions, which reduces privacy. Couples and spouses might not mind this, but if you have business needs, take note. The room's retractable TV is also quite interesting but easy to bump your head on. The view from the room is still nice. This Sheraton not only looks brand new after the renovation but is also very attractive at a price of a few hundred yuan.
