Nanjing Edition: A Place with Wind, Mountain Walk 1-Day Tour

It's been a long time since I last took my kids to She Village. This time, I found that many new and artistic small shops have opened in the village. This hidden gem of a village is really great for wandering around. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, it's perfect for a lazy afternoon. In the past, I came to Jiangning's Little Sichuan-Tibet Line for self-driving S-bends, camping, hiking, and rafting. Now, She Village has reached the next level. It's just a one-hour drive from the city center, perfect for a leisurely stroll and fresh air. It's truly Nanjing's hidden paradise. Today's Theme: Mountain Walk Leisure Route ⭕️Route: She Village Reservoir - She Village Ming and Qing Architecture Complex - South Wind Cottage - 99's Bread Snack Bar - Little Mountain Coffee - Hengshan Reservoir - Little Sichuan-Tibet Line Self-Drive - Longshang Reservoir - Van Gogh's Ladder to Heaven ✅She Village Reservoir From the village entrance to the village, the 3km roadside is full of small yellow flowers, and there are small paths leading to the lakeside. The reservoir is surrounded by green mountains and clear waters, perfect for photos, and the sunset is beautiful too. ✅She Village Ming and Qing Architecture Complex Known as the "First Village of Ancient Jinling Style," the square at the village entrance is bustling, with many elderly people selling fruits and vegetables. There are seas of flowers, a village history museum, and Ming and Qing ancient architecture complexes. ✅South Wind Cottage A very cozy little wooden house, the Nanjing version of "A Place with Wind"‼️ It's very warm when the evening sun shines in. Every corner is exquisitely decorated, perfect for photos, and the coffee is also very good. ✅99's Bread Snack Bar A newly opened bread shop right next to South Wind Cottage. The bread is delicious, and the young man gave us freshly picked nectarines. ✅Little Mountain Coffee A coffee shop I've bookmarked for a long time, located at a corner of the village far from the bustling city. The location is a bit hard to find, on a small slope in the village. There are a few very cute cats, perfect for enjoying a quiet afternoon here. ✅Hengshan Reservoir There is a long strip of lawn below the reservoir dam, very flat and suitable for setting up tents and canopies. You can park your car by the roadside. ✅Jiangning's Little Sichuan-Tibet Line If you can't go to 318, come to Nanjing's Little Sichuan-Tibet Line. It's suitable for cycling and self-driving, with a 2.8km winding mountain road and 38 bends. ✅Longshang Reservoir The bends of the reservoir are full of evening primroses, perfect for camping and fresh air.
