Splendid Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster!

Tianluokeng tulou cluster is one of the most famous clusters of Nanjing county, due to it's very famous and unique configuration. The village itself is quite commercial and used to visitors; there are in fact many restaurants, souvenir stalls and guesthouses inside the tulou and the surrounding buildings. The ticket (which includes 3 scenic spots in the area) is valid for 24h and costs 90rmb. Even if notoriously commercial, I decided to go to have a look. The choice of going during the Chinese New Year week was not very wise, as I found a lot of crowd and traffic jam on the road to the cluster 😰 My suggestion would be to avoid national holidays and just go during low season if possible. Nevertheless, the place itself is stunning and worth seeing when in China. Especially at night or in the early morning (when most of the daily visitors are gone or not arrived yet), Tianluokeng is quiet and enchanting, a joy to be there.
