Yunshuiyao, Fujian | Take your dog into the fairytale world of Big Fish & Begonia

Taking Mao Mao out for a trip! A 4-day, 3-night road trip from Foshan to Fujian ❣️First stop: Yunshuiyao, Fujian Foshan 🚗 5.5 hours drive, entrance fee 90 RMB/person, free for dogs. Entering the town felt like stepping into a paradise, the air was so fresh and peaceful! From the guesthouses to the 600-year-old banyan tree (pics 2-3), it was incredibly beautiful. Around 3 pm, the sunlight was perfect for photos, and you could even have tea by the river 🍵. Many of the town's paths were stone, with tea trees, vegetable gardens, and ducklings swimming in the river. We walked the whole way to Huaiyuan Tower, the Fujian Tulou we were most looking forward to. Going upstairs cost 10 RMB/person, and you could take photos with your dog in the same style as in "Big Fish & Begonia" (pic 4). Then we wandered around aimlessly with our dog, and the villagers all praised how cute Mao Mao was! Pet-friendly! Everywhere we looked was beautiful. We even did a DIY stamp-collecting activity at Yunshuiyao, creating a long scroll painting for 38 yuan (Picture 8). The experience was fantastic! 👌 🏨Regarding accommodation, the Evening Breeze Meets You B&B was great value for a weekday. I recommend staying on the 3rd floor; it has a large balcony with lots of stars at night! 🌟 The room was very clean, and the owner, an auntie, loves dogs and was very welcoming. 🍗Regarding food, since we went during the off-season on a weekday, many places allowed pets (just keep them on a leash). The Fengwu Restaurant set meal (Picture 13) was also a good deal. The village dogs we encountered along the way were all quite friendly, as were some tourists' pets. Prices within the scenic area were reasonable, and overall, pet-friendly, it was very relaxing! I'll definitely come back next time. Next stop: Quanzhou, Fujian! See the next post!
