The Jiangxi Provincial Museum has now opened its basic exhibitions, which include the Jiangxi Revolutionary History Exhibition, the Jiangxi Ancient History and Culture Exhibition, the Jiangxi Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition, the Jiangxi Ancient Ceramics Culture Exhibition, and the Exhibition of Masterpieces by Contemporary Jingdezhen Ceramic Artists. By the end of 2021, the total number of collections in the Jiangxi Provincial Museum was approximately 59,730 pieces (sets), gathering precious historical relics and ancient art masterpieces discovered from various places in Jiangxi Province. The categories involve bronzes, pottery, porcelain, gold artifacts, lacquered woodware, paintings and calligraphy, revolutionary relics, miscellaneous items, etc. Among them, national treasure-level cultural relics include the Shang Dynasty's bronze tiger with a bird lying down and two tails, the Eastern Zhou period's black pottery he with cloud and thunder patterns and animal head handle, the Sui Dynasty's Hongzhou kiln celadon ewer with elephant head spout, the Tang Dynasty's bronze mirror with the inscription 'Refining Form and Spirit, Casting the Eight Auspicious Beasts', the Song Dynasty's Jizhou kiln black-glazed cup with wood leaf pattern, and others.
