Whisper of love in Nan When you walk into the interior of the chapel, you will see beautiful line drawings on the murals on all 4 sides. It is Tai Lue art. The local people call it "Hub Taem". The paintings depict stories of the Buddha's life, local legends, and the way of life of the people of Nan in the past. These murals were painted during the major renovation of the chapel during the time of Chao Anantaworaritdet, the 62nd ruler of Nan and the 12th ruler of Nan of the Tin Maha Wong dynasty, or around 1867-1874.
