Alatan Khan is the founder of Hohhot, so the square in front of Dazhao is also called Alatan Square. 🏯The Ancient Architecture of Dazhao Temple | 4A Scenic Area Dazhao Temple is a Han-Tibetan style Gelug Buddhist temple that has been repaired several times, reflecting the complex relationship between the Manchu, Mongolian, and Han peoples. Therefore, the architecture within the temple includes the interlaced eaves of royal buildings with glazed tiles, as well as the traditional features of Tibetan Buddhism, and it also integrates the nomadic culture of the Mongols beyond the Great Wall. 🍀Inside the main hall, the Mahavira Hall, there is a silver Buddha, which is the main Buddha of Dazhao Wuliang Temple.
