Sri Udomporn Temple

Wat Sri Uthumphon, Nakhon Sawan Province, was built as a temple since 1942, with Phra Khru Choy Chanthasuwanno as the administrator and governor since the temple was first built. The villagers often call it “Wat Wang Duea”, after the original name of the village. The abbot was named “Phra Khru Choy Chanthasuwanno” and held the position from 1942 until 2007. He passed away peacefully on April 16, 2007, at the age of 94 years and 8 days. The disciples led by Phra Baidika Somsak, the deputy abbot at that time, held a chanting ceremony for him in full honor. Later, it was found that “his body did not decompose”.
