Osaka, Japan - The mysterious black cube: Enoshima Museum of Art, Osaka

Visited the #OsakaNakanoshimaArtMuseum where not many people were. The exterior is a large black cube located between the buildings on both sides. It is quite spectacular and conspicuous from a distance. It is an art museum that displays contemporary art in Osaka. The special exhibition during the visit was the #木下佳通代 ’s works exhibition (5/25-8/28), and I am more interested in the next theme, the #醍醐寺 ’s National Treasure Exhibition (6/15-8/25). In addition to the big black cube of the Nakanoshima Art Museum, there are two mascots: a space cat on display outdoors, and a giant moon rocket cat indoors. They are very eye-catching and match the black cube quite well. The museum has five floors above and one floor below, with stairwells and floors crisscrossing each other. The cold metallic tones of black, gray, and white, coupled with a large amount of white space, give people the illusion of being in an alien space in the universe. It's quite cool to come and take a look! The entrance ticket office is on the second floor, and the first floor is the restaurant and selection studio. In short, Nakanoshima is a place where young artists would come. There are many art galleries and museums on the narrow island, so it’s nice to take a walk there.
