Shuri Castle after the fire

Shuri Castle in Naha City, Okinawa was once the royal palace of the Ryukyu Kingdom. Although it is Japanese territory, it was deeply influenced by the Ming and Qing dynasties in China. Its architectural style is a combination of Chinese and Japanese, and is quite distinctive.
