🏯 Okinawa “Shuri Castle” after the fire

In 2019, about a year after the restoration was completed, a fire broke out again at Shuri Castle in Okinawa. Most of the buildings, including the power outage, were completely burned down by this fire. 🥹 After the fire, Shuri Castle is currently undergoing hard restoration in 2023. ⚒️ It's good to see the restoration process, or visit the observatory or take a walk, but I recommend visiting without high expectations! 📍 Okinawa Naha "Shuri Castle" 💸 Paid area 400 yen (360 yen when purchased at the tourist information center) 🏷️ If you're looking for the observatory → Paid area recommended 🏷️ You can see enough even if you only visit the free area 🏷️ 15-minute walk from the monorail station to the castle 🏷️ Recommended bus instead of the monorail 🏷️ It takes 1-2 hours to tour Shuri Castle + the park as a whole #Tourist attraction review #Okinawa travel
