Nagoya Autumn Leaves Higashiyama Botanical Gardens 2025.11.27

🍁 I left work early to catch the best time to see the autumn leaves. Over the past two weeks, I visited Higashiyama Botanical Gardens, Tokugawa Garden, and Shiratori Teien. Personally, I think Higashiyama Botanical Gardens is the most beautiful, so I came again today and will go again this weekend because it's just too beautiful. 🍁 Compared to last week, the leaves have turned much more colorful. The long road at the entrance lined with maple trees is truly rich in color. It’s the spot where leaf viewers stop the longest to take photos and where the most people are taking pictures. If you enter from the Hoshigaoka entrance, you have to walk to the end to see it, but there are also several other great autumn leaf spots along the way. 🍁 The autumn leaves at Higashiyama Botanical Gardens have different highlights at different times because the leaves are spread across different areas with various species, so the timing of their color change varies. The most beautiful right now is that red leaf path. There is also an area called "100 Soundscapes of Japan" that has just started to change color and is expected to be very beautiful in a few days.
