Summer Impressions of Nagoya Tsuruma Park

Every time I come to Nagoya, I always visit Tsuruma Park. During the summer heat, when there are no events during the day, it is quiet here. The lawns are neatly trimmed, a patch of sunflowers is in full bloom, and a few crape myrtles are also brilliantly blooming. The lotus pond is covered with lotus leaves. This open park is quite large, with facilities such as a sports field, children's playground, rose garden, and a Western-style fountain tower. In summer, the trees are lush, and the breeze blowing through the shade brings bursts of coolness. However, in this quiet atmosphere, the cawing of crows is particularly piercing. There are many ancient trees in the park, and there are also many crows. In Japan, crows are considered auspicious birds.
