Healthy Dengaku Tofu

Near the Sakae district, there's a place called Rinneya that offers a healthy menu, mainly focusing on Dengaku Tofu. Personally, I find it so-so, but my mom is interested. The place is quite popular, but the staff is seriously understaffed, so you'll need to be patient. However, Hong Kong people are used to this kind of situation! After looking around, I chose a relatively less healthy tempura set, which includes Dengaku Tofu, assorted tempura, white rice, pickles, and miso soup. The various pickles whet my appetite. The three pieces of Dengaku Tofu have a decent texture, not too firm or too loose, with a sweet sauce that is quite appetizing. If you only taste a bit, it's more than acceptable, but having three pieces at once is too much for me. As a meat lover, it's definitely too bland and unsatisfying. The tempura ingredients are fresh, with a crispy but not too thick coating. Dipping it in grated radish and tempura sauce provides some comfort, especially the shrimp tempura. If you're worried about the heatiness of tempura, there's a healthier Dengaku Tofu set with more varieties of pickles.
