We were surprised by the number of animals at the zoo, who seemed to be well fed but the enclosures are quite small. - ¥500 admission (¥640 combo ticket w/ the Higashiyama Sky Tower) - 3-minute walk away from the Higashiyama Koen subway station - Plenty of food options and washrooms - Large pond for pedal boat (¥1,200 for 40 minutes) - Can easily spend an entire day - Great for families
