Yamaguchi🇯🇵 Motonosumi Shrine

This shrine was built in 1955 as a branch of the Taikodani Inari Jinja Shrine in Tsuwano-cho, Shimane Prefecture, following an oracle brought by a white fox. Originally a shrine to bless prosperous business, good fishing harvests and safety at sea, it later also came to be in charge of marriage, children, good luck and warding off disasters, perfect fortune, traffic safety, academic success and the fulfillment of wishes. There are 123 red torii gates on the way from the Ryugu tide spot to the shrine, which is quite impressive. Look closely at the torii gate on the high platform of the shrine... the donation box is actually right above your head!
