Matsuura Railway Journey

Matsuura Railway is a private railway company in northern Kyushu, Japan. You can use the JR pass to travel on this route and explore the rural towns in the western part of northern Kyushu. You can board the Matsuura Railway at either Imari Station or Sasebo Station in northern Kyushu. Each station along the route has its own unique features, with many showcasing the artwork of local high school students and teachers. The westernmost station in Japan, Tabira-Hiradoguchi Station, is also on the Matsuura Railway line.
