Japan Travel 🇯🇵|Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Site

I have been to Nagasaki and Hiroshima, the only two cities in the world that were bombed by atomic bombs. ⚡️The Atomic Bomb Dome was originally the Hiroshima Prefecture Industry Promotion Hall, designed by a Czech architect. The atomic bomb was actually dropped on the nearby Aioi Bridge, but it was offset by 600 meters and fell over the Hiroshima Hospital. This building was preserved because it was almost below the detonation point and received less lateral impact. In fact, many non-wooden structures were preserved at the time, including a public toilet nearby. ⚡Hiroshima Peace Memorial Hall, designed by the famous Japanese architect Kenzo Tange. The entire hall is divided into two halls, east and west, which are not large, but have a lot of information. ⚡The process of applying for the atomic bomb is also quite intriguing. At that time, the United States was updating its World Heritage Tentative List, hoping to have more heritage that reflects the "development of science and technology" in modern times, and even wanted to apply for the World Heritage together with Japan. In the end, the United States withdrew from the World Heritage application plan, and Japan itself included the atomic bomb site in the World Heritage List under the name of "Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park". World Heritage has been doomed to be entangled with politics since the day it was first created. To put it bluntly, it is the infiltration of politics into the cultural field; to put it nicely, it is the cultural expression of national interests. #100 ways to travel #JapanTravel

Nagasaki Peace Park is a park located in Nagasaki, Japan, commemorating the atomic bombing of the city during World War II. This is a nice park area that was quiet when I was there and I felt more like I was there than in Hiroshima. It is important to get the feel there imagining the sorrow, pain, ... the bomb caused. It is vital to realize the ground level elevation and its reason. A must visit location when in Nagasaki as the Nagasaki Bomb Epicenter sits in a lovely park adjacent to the main Peace Park and only a short distance to the Nagasaki Peace Park Museum. #givethanks #givethanks
