Mulayit Mula-i, the mountain of faith

The Mountain of Faith "Mulai" DKBA Karen State Administration, Burma Mulai is another place that many people want to visit once in their lives. This is a high mountain with an elevation of about 2,078 meters above sea level and is an important place of Buddhist religion for Burmese and Thai people who come to make merit and pay homage to the pagoda on the mountain. There are 2 pagodas that you can walk up to pay homage to. The pagoda on the top can only be accessed by men, while women can only stay on the pagoda on the bottom (there are strict rules here, especially for women who have more prohibitions than men). In addition to going up to pay homage to the pagoda, the camping ground is worth millions of baht. You have to walk from the temple for another 1.5 km. The distance is uphill and downhill alternately, but the view from above is amazing all the time. The mountains are layered together, plus the golden fields as far as the eye can see. Most importantly, there are many photo spots. The advantage of this place is that you can watch the sunrise and sunset at the middle of the tent. At night, the stars are beautiful. The day I went, the wind was very strong and cold, almost 10-15 degrees. #Mulai
