A Family Day at Munich’s English Garden

We started our day by strolling through the vast park, one of the largest urban parks in the world. The kids ran freely on the grassy fields, while we admired the peaceful scenery of the meandering streams and tall trees beginning to show their autumn colors. The park’s lively atmosphere was infectious, with people cycling, picnicking, and even surfing on the man-made Eisbach wave, much to the delight of the little ones. We made our way to the iconic Chinese Tower beer garden, where we enjoyed a relaxed lunch. While the adults savored traditional Bavarian food, like pretzels and sausages, the kids were entertained by the live music and enjoyed their own treats. Afterward, we rented a paddleboat on Kleinhesseloher Lake, where the whole family enjoyed a peaceful ride, watching the ducks and swans glide by. The day in the English Garden was a perfect mix of relaxation and outdoor fun, creating lasting memories for all of us amidst the natural beauty of Munich’s beloved park.
