This UNESCO World Heritage town is located 20 km from Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. For Georgians, this is a sacred place. Here, you will see many locals praying in the church, and you will feel the solemnity and sanctity of the place. What to do❓ 🚗Transportation: Take the subway to Didube, then cross the market to see the bus terminal. Take a bus from Tbilisi, which takes about 50 minutes (the bus stop and vehicle are shown in the last picture). 1. Svetitskhoveli Cathedral: Get off at Mtskheta and head here first, as it is the closest to the bus stop. 2. Samtavro Monastery 3. Jvari Monastery: This is the one built on the cliff top. You need to take a taxi to get there and back, which costs about 30 GEL (round trip). Then you can walk through the town center and along the riverbank to enjoy the beautiful scenery. 🍗Food: There are many restaurants in the town center. 🌟Note: Compare prices before using the toilet.
