Mount Coot-Tha is a small mountain located about 20 minutes by car from Brisbane City. From the lookout, you can enjoy the breathtaking sunrise over Brisbane. I took a taxi from Brisbane City around 5:30 AM in mid-August to catch the sunrise. Unfortunately, it was a foggy day, but the sun was so intense that I could still see the sunrise clearly. The sight of the sun rising above the thick fog was truly magnificent. There were several photographers with large cameras trying to capture the sunrise view from Mount Coot-Tha. Witnessing such a beautiful sunrise in the morning made my trip to Brisbane even more fulfilling.
