[Madagascar] When you think of Madagascar, you think of baobabs!

Madagascar is famous for the baobab trees that appear in "The Little Prince"✨ In the story, the baobab tree is depicted as destroying the stars, but the actual baobabs have a unique shape and overwhelming presence! The baobab avenue at dusk is especially a must-see✨ As the sun went down, the silhouettes of the baobabs stood out against the orange sky, creating a moving sight. It is also recommended to visit early in the morning, as there are fewer people and you can enjoy the fantastic view of the moment the sun rises (although it was slightly cloudy when we visited). From the city of Morondava, we chartered a taxi to go to Baobab Avenue. I asked the staff at my accommodation to call me and negotiate the price and time☺️ A sunset tour with a detour costs about 4,000 yen (as of August 2024). There are small villages dotted along the way to the Avenue of the Baobabs, and it's fun to get a glimpse of the simple life of the locals! By the way, baobabs in summer look like this, smooth and leafless.
