Take the "Golden Pass" train to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Switzerland.

There are two excellent "train tours" in the "Secret Land of German and Swiss Treasures". For travelers who are used to taking planes and buses, it is exciting to take a train in a foreign country for a change. The most praised route in Switzerland tourism is of course the "Golden Pass Train". The train I took was a culmination of the beautiful scenery of many places in Switzerland, and it is known as "the most beautiful travel route in Switzerland." The Golden Pass railway is a fascinating route connecting some of Switzerland's most beautiful lakes: Lake Geneva, Lake Thun, Lake Brienz and Lake Lucerne. Bright lakes, majestic Alps, and leisurely pastures are colorful scenery that you can enjoy along the way. The Golden Pass Train was designed with sightseeing in mind. It is beautiful, functional and comfortable. The top and sides of the car are covered with glass, so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery outside the car from different perspectives ❺❷⓬ (pictured below). There is also an old-fashioned sightseeing train running on this line, which has been running since 1901, which shows the advanced nature of Swiss industry at that time. The train travels over 240 kilometers and is divided into three sections, passing through the essence of the Alps. There was a nice rain last night, making the air more clear. The Golden Pass train departs from the central station "Montreux". I visited Montreux, a famous sheep placenta beauty resort located on the shores of Lake Geneva, in advance. The small town in the mist highlights its natural romance❻. This is also the favorite holiday resort of Fred Mahir, the former lead singer of Queen. There is a statue of Fred erected by the lake. He holds a microphone in his left hand and raises his right hand high with his clothes flying, which reflects Fred's high-spirited posture at the time. Montreux station is not big❺. There are several switches where trains are parked for departure or return. The train runs every ten minutes or so, and the frequency is as accurate as the watches they produce. The panoramic sightseeing train moves slowly, and what comes into view is the lush forest surrounded by green mountains and green waters, and the clear blue lakes sparkling at the foot of the mountains. Outside the extremely large car windows, scenes from The Wizard of Oz are displayed, just like the "shadow puppet shows" we watched as children. God was so kind today, unlike the sunny days before, and gave me a dreamy foggy day. Low clouds floated and rose between the mountains and waters. The sky was misty, clear and distant. The fog was like the most gentle painter between heaven and earth, outlining the boundary between dreams and reality with every stroke, containing endless poetry. There is a clear lake under the clouds and neatly arranged vineyards on the hillsides❷. The fir trees dotted among the lush green grass and a few exquisite red-roofed cottages form a tranquil oil painting that is refreshing and pleasant ❶❸⓫⓭⓯. The stations we stopped at were quiet and clean, with beautiful buildings ❹⓰ and peaceful, polite and welcoming people ⓯ (picture below). This magnificent scenery is so fascinating that a one and a half hour drive is too short. Fortunately, there were many wonderful things happening today. We got off the bus halfway, took a bus and then took the cable car to Glacier 3000. Swiss Glacier 3000 is a famous tourist attraction located in the Swiss Alps, about 3,000 meters above sea level, hence the name. It is famous for its magnificent glacier landscapes and rich outdoor activities. It is part of a large ice field, covered with vast expanses of ice and snow, providing people with stunning glacial landscapes. Today, the top of the mountain was filled with fog⓱. The passengers on the cable car became the protagonists of the beautiful scenery amid the flying snow. The big waterfall rushed down and disappeared in the ice and snow. On the descending cable car, I saw white clouds floating above the mountain⓲⓳⓴. From the flower-filled lakeside to the top of the glacier, from short-sleeved T-shirts to thick down jackets, I seemed to have spent a warm winter day in the beauty of a Swiss summer.
