This is my second visit to Mokpo since the hot summer of last year. Just like the first time, you can meet Songjart in Mokpo, where the warm and cozy scenery welcomes you. This place, located in the old downtown area of ​​Mokpo, operates a bakery cafe, restaurant, exhibition, and music performance. The current exhibition is Kim Hye-ja's 'Embracing Light', and the music performance is held in the evening time slot. The space is so large that it is a good place for many people to spend time together, and the antique feel and objects that the owner has collected one by one for over 30 years seem to add to the charm of the space. I heard that they changed the former rice mill building into a large cafe. I visited for a photo shoot during the opening hours on a weekday morning, and I could tell that it was popular because there were customers who arrived before me. Inside, there is a coffee bar with bakery items on display, and on the right is a restaurant space. There is also an annex and a gallery where you can enjoy coffee and bakery items. First of all, I would like to mention the wide variety of bakery items and the high-quality restaurant menu. The friendly staff and the ship at the entrance of the cafe that reminds you of Mokpo’s port are also unique to Songjart. Since being introduced on a TV show, travelers of all ages have been visiting Mokpo. I hope Songjart will be loved as a space that can give travelers a lingering feeling of Mokpo. 📍Coffee beans -You can choose between two types of coffee beans: sour and savory 📍Coffee / Bakery / Meal I chose a savory style of coffee beans and had an Americano, and I experienced a fairly heavy style of coffee. The salt bread had a classic feel that anyone could enjoy. The burrata cheese salad is a great recommendation for women, as it is full of seasonal fruits. 📍Music Songzart's music is colored with jazz pieces. The feedback on the music is very positive.
