Amanohashidate, often referred to as the “Bridge to Heaven,” is a 3.6-kilometre pine-covered sandbar in Miyazu Bay, northern Kyoto Prefecture. Recognised as one of Japan’s “Three Scenic Views,” it offers breathtaking vistas and a blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage. 🏔️Places - Amanohashidate Sandbar Walk, bike, or take a boat ride across this scenic pine-covered land bridge. It’s especially beautiful when viewed from above. - Amanohashidate View Land A mountaintop park with a panoramic view of the sandbar—best known for the “Matanozoki” pose (bend over and view it upside down!). - Kasamatsu Park Another high vantage point on the northern side with cable car access.
