The Kurima Bridge, which connects Kurima Island, one of the five islands in the Miyako Islands, to the Miyako mainland, is a 1,690m long bridge that opened in 1995. The water is incredibly clear! It was so beautiful and moving. Kurima Island itself is a small island, and you can go around the entire island in about 10 minutes. It's also easy to access from Miyako Airport, so it was a great driving course. However, there aren't many traffic lights on the island, so please drive safely and be careful of your speed and avoid jumping out.
