[Kanagawa Prefecture/Miura Hakusan Shrine] A shrine located near Miura Beach

Miura Hakusan Shrine was originally called Hakusan-gu Shrine, and is said to have been the guardian deity of Kikuna Saemon Shigeuji, a military commander of the Miura clan. After they passed away and the shrine fell into disrepair, the main shrine was constructed in 1684. The current main shrine was built in 1970 in the style of a Gongen shrine, made of reinforced concrete. Behind the main shrine is a gabled-shaped tomb with a horizontal hole that can be seen.
