Mishima Skywalk: A Cloudy View from Japan's Longest Suspension Bridge ☁️🚶‍♀️

#summervacay After visiting Yamanaka Castle Ruins, a quick three-stop bus ride brought me to the Mishima Skywalk, Japan's longest suspension bridge, stretching 400 meters! The place was packed with visitors, and the ¥1,200 entrance fee felt a bit steep. This bridge is famous for its panoramic views of Mount Fuji in the distance and Suruga Bay below. I've seen breathtaking photos online of Fuji at sunset and the stunning evening glow – truly a powerful display of natural beauty. Unfortunately, the day I visited was overcast. With no sun and Mount Fuji completely hidden by clouds, there was simply no scenery to admire. Without those iconic views, the bridge itself felt quite uninteresting.
