Tua Pek Gong Temple

#createwithtrip Tua Pek Gong Temple is a temple with very long history with Miri residents. It is recently going through a refurbishment and a new building is being built right next to it. Apparently according to local, this temple has been a favourite place for local especially Chinese communities to pray for peace and prosperity. It is situated right in the city centre, there is formerly a fish market besides it, however the fish market was relocated to a new location behind Pullman hotel. Miri Time Square is also right behind this temple. I am lucky to call Sarawak my home state, as everyone is living harmoniously under the same open and friendly environment. Do pay a visit to this temple, then you can head to Miri Time Square for some wonderful restaurants there.
