If you're looking for a temple perfect for a leisurely stroll, away from the city crowds yet still offering stunning scenery, Katsuo-ji Temple definitely deserves a mention! Although I'd seen countless photos of it on social media, visiting in person revealed a surprisingly spacious and tranquil atmosphere. Visiting in autumn brings an even greater sense of peace, surrounded by nature and Buddhist sanctuary. Children running around in the park, with distant mountains and lakes as a backdrop, the air is incredibly fresh. Seeing children playing in the park along the way is incredibly heartwarming.
