Osaka Day Trip: Mountain Temple & Waterfall Escape! ⛰️💦

#falladventures Looking for a cool escape near Osaka? I highly recommend this combo for beating the summer heat: the Katsuo-ji Temple and the Minoh Great Waterfall! Location & Transportation: Address: You can find both spots easily on Google Maps. Access (The Tricky Part): If you don't drive, you'll need to take a train and then transfer to a bus, which is genuinely inconvenient. I strongly recommend driving! 🚗 Katsuo-ji is only a 7-minute drive from Minoh Waterfall, but without a car, getting between the two spots is practically impossible on your own. Katsuo-ji Temple I left late, heading to Katsuo-ji just before 3:00 PM and arriving around 4:00 PM. Queuing for parking only took about 10 minutes, which was quick! The maximum parking fee was around 1,000 JPY (or maybe just 500 JPY—I wasn't sure, but either way, it was very cheap!). Since the temple closes at 5:00 PM, arriving late meant there weren't many people.
