Osaka, Japan, Minoh waterfall.

A corner of peace, pure nature not far from the largest metropolis of Japan. Minoh Falls is located not far from Osaka, you can get there by subway, the road will take no more than an hour from Osaka station, to Mino-o station, then walk following the signs to the waterfall. along the way there are rest areas, toilets, several cafes where you can have a snack, as well as a Shinto temple and even an insectarium, in general, you can go for the whole day, besides, a walk around the station is also very interesting. I recommend visiting! It will also be convenient for parents with children and a stroller. #osakatravel #minoh #japantravel #japan

[Minoh/Osaka🇯🇵] If you want to experience nature in Osaka, this is the place🍁 Perfect for autumn foliage season or any other time of year◎

あやぼう旅日記
Minoo Falls

If you're planning a trip to Osaka soon, you absolutely can't miss Minoo City! This time, we'll take you to Minoo, the "Hometown of Autumn Foliage in Kansai," famous for its Minoo Falls. Even the manhole covers are decorated with maple leaf elements, instantly transforming your mood into autumn mode 🍁. Minoo Park is beautiful in all seasons, especially during autumn foliage season, when the mountains are ablaze with red and yellow hues. If you're lucky enough to be there on a sunny day, even the waterfall mist will sparkle! Highlights: Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and easily reach Minoo Station via the Hankyu Railway. From there, you can easily walk into this natural oxygen bar: - Minoo Falls: Water cascades down from a height of about 33 meters, creating a picturesque scene with the maple leaves. The trail beside the falls is very easy to walk, perfect for families or friends. - Minoo Park: The entire area is covered with natural forests, with birdsong and the sound of flowing streams providing a truly therapeutic experience. If you enjoy photography, the Minoo manhole covers and the small bridges and streams along the way are excellent photo spots. - Maple Leaf Manhole Covers: If you look closely, you'll find that the manhole covers along the roadside are printed with maple leaf and waterfall patterns. Even the small details are incredibly heartwarming; Minoo is just that thoughtful! 📍Attraction Information Minoo Waterfall Address: Minoo Park, Minoo City, Osaka Prefecture Opening Hours: Open year-round, all day (Daytime is recommended for the best sunlight photos) Transportation Guide/Useful Tips 1. Take the Hankyu Railway from downtown Osaka to Minoo Station. After exiting the station, follow the signs and walk along the park trail for about 40 minutes to reach the waterfall (there are benches along the way, and the trail is flat and not tiring). 2. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Minoo Park is large, making for a comfortable walk, but the path is a bit long. It gets crowded during the autumn foliage season (mid-to-late November), so going in the morning or on a weekday is quieter. 3. On a sunny day, the sunlight and shadows filtering through the trees and waterfall are perfect for taking photos! There are also many convenience stores and teahouses along the way where you can refill water and grab snacks. 4. The park does a great job with garbage sorting. Please remember to bring your own garbage bags or dispose of them at designated disposal points to protect nature. 5. On rainy days, we suggest choosing indoor attractions or wearing a waterproof jacket. However, the forest in a light rain has a different kind of poetic charm. Dining Tips: There are teahouses selling maple leaf tempura (もみじの天ぷら) at the park entrance and along the trails. It's a Minoo specialty. Crispy on the outside and sweet and fragrant, highly recommended! There are also Japanese sweets and cafes in the nearby shopping street, so you won't go hungry. Summary: Minoo Falls and the entire park are worth visiting in all seasons. Autumn brings maple leaves, summer offers cool forests, and spring brings new greenery. Not only is the scenery therapeutic, but even the details of daily life (such as the manhole cover art) are thoughtfully designed, offering new surprises every time you visit. We recommend this relaxing route for those who want to unwind, enjoy nature/photography, or have a family trip! #Minoo #OsakaSuburbs #MapleLeafPhotography #NatureTherapy #WeekendGetaway
