Miyakejima Dolphin Sanctuary — A Magical Adventure with Dolphins

Following our guide Fumihiko, a seasoned diver with countless experiences in Miyakejima, we headed to this dreamlike sanctuary for dolphins. Fumihiko shared his wisdom with a touch of humor, "If you flail around too much in the water, you’ll look like an overly excited dog charging at the dolphins." His playful words drew chuckles from us, even as we struggled to contain our excitement, dopamine practically flooding our systems. As we sat on the boat’s edge, tense yet thrilled, Kenshi-san’s voice called out, “Junbi!” signaling us to get ready. We fixed our gaze on the dolphins’ path, poised to jump in.
