Hidden Gem in Pulau Mawar

Gerbang Laut Pulau Mawar, located some 30km or 30 minutes drive from Mersing town. The scenery is so beautiful with slight adventurous trail to reach this place. Park your car at Penyabong Car. Make sure you go in the noon time during the low tide. Otherwise you can’t cross to the island. It take about 10-15mins to reach Pulau Mawar on foot. Walk along the mangrove forest, before entered into a short jungle trekking. A short hike up to the hill is a must before you can reach to the peak of Gerbang Laut, where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the rock formation scenery. It’s very windy once you reach the peak.
