The French Garden in Mengzi is stunning!

As Zhu Ziqing wrote about Mengzi, "It's wonderfully small, wonderfully uncrowded. Those accustomed to big cities will find Mengzi's city walls toy-like, much like how someone used to regular trains might feel stepping onto a small jade train. But settle in, and you'll gradually find its charm." Mengzi is indeed a small city perfect for leisurely strolls and living. Here's a brief overview of my time there: 🎈Bisezhai, famed as a filming location for "Youth" and "Forever Young," boasts the Tropic of Cancer marker, a three-sided clock, and China's oldest clay tennis court. It's not only one of China's earliest railway stations but also a crossroads of Chinese and Western cultures. 🎈Along Haiguan Road and at the Southwest Associated University Memorial Hall, the winter branches of kapok trees cast ink-painting-like shadows on the walls. Numerous French-style buildings line the lake, their red tiles and yellow walls complementing the blue sky. 🎈At Nanhu Park and a corner of Pioneer Bookstore, you'll find books about Southwest Associated University and related news clippings. The entire park is ideal for walks, featuring tropical plants. When I visited during Lunar New Year, the winter cherry blossoms were still in bloom.
