There are gods in the depths of the clouds

Before the Spring Festival, our family of four celebrated the New Year in Mengshan. I was deeply impressed by the [Yimeng Mountain Guimeng Scenic Area]. 33 kilometers away from the Guimeng Scenic Area, there is also a [Yimengshan World Geopark Yunmeng Scenic Area]. Although "Guimeng" and "Yunmeng" are only one word apart, the scenery is very different. This weekend, my friend and I set out from Qingdao early in the morning and drove more than 300 kilometers to arrive at the Yunmeng Scenic Area. Mengshan Yunmeng Scenic Area, also known as [Shandong Mengshan National Forest Park], has a forest coverage rate of over 95%. The content of negative oxygen ions in the air in the scenic area ranks first in the country. Therefore, Mengshan is known as a "natural oxygen bar" and an "ultra-clean area." We first came to the [Vajra Gate Cultural Square], which is a new cultural landmark of Mount Meng. The eight Vajras hold up the four Bodhisattvas. The carvings are exquisite and majestic, forming a sharp contrast with the beautiful scenery of Mount Meng, which is very imaginative and creative. There are two options to go up the mountain, hiking and taking a forest sightseeing bus. If you have enough time, I suggest you hike up the mountain. You will see a beautiful view at every step. Taking a sightseeing bus is also a good choice. You can enjoy endless scenery along the way, passing by the century-old chestnut forest, bamboo forest, reclining Buddha, Eighteen Bends, Lion Peak, Buddha's Hand Holding Treasure and other attractions. The sightseeing bus traveled through the green shade, and 20 minutes later, we arrived at the [Cloud Camping Site]. Here you can get up close and personal with cute pets, attend sofa concerts, or take a nap in a tent. Finally escaping from the city, we felt the fresh breeze and bathed in the sunshine and rain of nature. The rest of the journey was a bit challenging as we had to walk along the wooden path all the way to the top of the mountain. Suddenly I remembered Luo Dayou’s song “Childhood”, in which there is a line “Are there fairies living in the mountains?” At this moment, I have a strong feeling that if there are fairies, then their home must be in the depths of the clouds, far away from the hustle and bustle of the world!
