That’s what google says when I was researching for my trip. Well it’s true, it was really very big! It was really cool being here, soaking in the environment, listening to artists basking outside the market. The whole experience was a treat! What was most impressive to us was just the variety of things being sold at the market. The indoor market had stores selling raw meat, coffee beans, cooked food, toys and just many many different things. Their outdoor market had stores that sold honey, fruits, accessories, clothes, and even had stores that takes pictures of your eye pupils. My main takeaway from this place is the Burek. It’s actually a middle eastern pastry. Usually with flaky dough and stuffed with meat, cheese or potatoes. It’s like a variant of a chicken pot pie, or curry puff.
