Osteria ilaria is run by the same people as Tip 00 and this place popular too. Be sure to make a reservation before coming, however do note that there is a charge for no shows. Being a solo diner, I liked that their starters could be ordered per piece. I loved the mushroom croquette, the scallop was good too but the mushroom croquette really stole the show. The lamb ragu with pappardelle pasta was rich and comforting, it really hit the spot for me. I didn’t want the dish to end. The pappardelle was incredible. Personally one of the best pasta dishes i’ve ever had, the lamb ragu was so tender and juicy, combined with the capsicum and macadamia, each bite was amazing. Not to mention how perfect the pasta was cooked. Brilliant place to eat. #australiatrip #italian #melbourne
