Malacca Strait Mosque (1553). The Malacca Strait Mosque, located on the artificially constructed Malacca Island, was built between 2003 and 2006. The architectural design combines Malay and Arabic styles, with the main structure over the sea, connected to the land, and supported by reinforced concrete pillars. The central part features a golden dome, surrounded by glass facades shaped like sails, and at each corner, there are columnar towers. The building is entirely white, and when the water level rises, it appears as though the structure is floating on the sea.
