1-nighter @ ibis Melaka!

First overseas trip after 2.5yrs. Melaka also counted right? ❤️ The most impromptu booking I’ve made for any hotel - only when leaving Singapore. 🫠 Booked a base room without any expectation because well, it’s an Ibis 🤷🏻‍♀️ After the 4 hours journey, thank goodness for my Accor Platinum which got us upgraded to a Suite at 11am 🎉 For $74++ a night I wasn’t expecting much but the space was actually quite nice! And clean! But bring your own slippers and toiletries okay 😂 The Ibis hospitality included a welcome note, efficient housekeeping, and a very cold room. Breakfast was buffet but erm quite bad. If you have to pay to breakfast, just don’t. 🙈 Location was great and within walking distance to Jonker Street where we found the best buttermilk biscuit ever by Hock Kee. 🐷
