Perfect for a day trip from Kuala Lumpur! Malacca's famous spots: Dutch Square → St. Paul's Cathedral → Floating Mosque

#sightseeing A little trip from Kuala Lumpur! A trip to Malacca with a lot going on. I left the hotel a little late at 8am and headed to the TBS bus terminal. There was a long line at the manned ticket booth 😅 I had a bad feeling so I hurried to the vending machine where you can buy tickets yourself (note that it only accepts cash). The tickets to Malacca in the morning were sold out 😇 It would be a pain to go by train as you have to transfer, and if you use Grab it would be about 20 times the price of the bus because it's so far away 😭 I was frustrated so I lined up at the ticket booth again, and miraculously there was a ticket available for the 11am departure 🥹🥹🥹 The two-seater seats were separated, but it didn't matter as long as I could get on lol The ticket was about 60RM for two people 🫶 (It was about a three-hour bus ride. I arrived in Malacca at around 2pm Anyway, I didn't have a return ticket, so I went to the ticket machine without any luck, and there was a ticket available for the 18:00 departure, which was supposed to be sold out 😭 Of course I bought it! We lined up side by side 🫶 and called a Grab and headed to our first destination, Dutch Square. About 20 minutes? The traffic was crazy 😂 There were a lot of decorated tuk-tuks at Dutch Square, and it was noisy, both visually and visually 😂😂 Dutch Square has a cute red building 🩷 This is a great photo spot 🤳 I took a quick look at the souvenir shops, and my next destination, St. Paul's Cathedral, was on a hill about a 5-minute walk from here. I casually arrived in Malacca. The place I wanted to go to the most was a dilapidated church built in the 15th century that no longer has a ceiling. I think it's a great place for people who like ruins. There is a church like this in Tuscany, Italy, and I thought I would like to take wedding photos there. I really liked the visuals of the place, so I wanted to go there. It's not that big, but I took lots of photos and looked around many times, and about 30 minutes had passed. I wanted to walk to my next destination, the Floating Mosque, but it was a 40-minute walk... Impossible. Anyway, I thought I'd take a toilet break, and the toilets were clean, so I went to the Floating Mosque. I went to a neat shopping mall. I was shocked that the toilet was so empty😅😅😅, so I took a Grab from the shopping mall to the floating mosque. I thought I would have plenty of time because I had 4 hours to stay, but I ran out of time and it was already 4:30pm. I arrived at the Melaka Straits Mosque (Floating Mosque) around 5pm, but the mosque was already closed😂😂, so I walked around hoping to take a picture of the exterior of the mosque, but there was a crowd of people. It's an area that can be seen from the opposite bank? You don't get a ticket, but you pay the man sitting at the entrance and get a juice and enter the area. I think it was about 5RM for two people? It was cheap! The floating mosque on the sea was so divine🥹🥹The view was amazing. But I didn't have much time, so I took a picture in about 10 minutes and called a Grab to go to the Melaka Bus Terminal. It was 5:30pm and I was just in time😂 I got on the 6pm bus and safely went to TBS in Kuala Lumpur. The second day in Malaysia was so hectic. I thought from the bottom of my heart that I should definitely buy the bus ticket to Malacca because it seems that it can be bought online😂 Malacca's cityscape is unique because it looks like a mix of China and Europe, so I wanted to walk around the city, but I didn't have time😂😂 I wish I could have caught the 9 o'clock bus🥹But I was satisfied with the trip because I covered the three major attractions🫶 Recommended course in Malacca: Dutch Square → St. Paul's Cathedral → Melaka Straits Mosque (Floating Mosque)Transportation: Take a long-distance bus to Malacca🚌 Travel within Malacca with GrabEstimated cost: 60RM (about 400 yen) round trip from Kuala Lumpur to Malacca highway bus✅ It's definitely better to book the highway bus from Kuala Lumpur to Malacca online! I bought it as a pain on the spot😭😭 My biggest regret is that I should have bought it online✅ It's such an attractive place that 4 hours of stay is not enough! Be sure to plan to get there in the morning! 📍Dutch SquareAddress: Jalan Gereja, 75200 Melaka, MalaysiaAccess: About 15 minutes by grab from Melaka Sentral StationCost: Free📍St. Paul's CathedralAddress: Jalan Kota, Bandar Hilir, 75000 Melaka, MalaysiaAccess: 5 minutes walk from Dutch SquareCost: Free📍Malacca Straits MosqueAddress: Masjid Selat, 75000, Melaka, MalaysiaCost: 2.5RM per person for the opposite bank area (cash only)Recommended points: This is a highly recommended area for taking photos, and the location is difficult to find, so aim for a crowd! lol⚠Caution: Only cash is accepted #MalaccaTourism #MalaysiaTrip #Malaysia #Malaysia #St.Paul'sChurch #DutchSquare
