The Stadthuys ✨

The Stadthuys is a historical building located in Malacca, the capital of Malacca, Malaysia. It is the oldest Dutch building in Southeast Asia. It is also commonly known as the Stadthuys Square. It is famous for its red exterior walls and the nearby red clock tower. It was originally a church and later the office of the Governor and Deputy Governor of the Netherlands. The museum sets out summarized history of the historical invasions of the Portuguese, Dutch, English and Japanese. Weapons, clothing, and crockery used in an era are displayed in clean and clear glass casings, and descriptions along with the historical tales are made available in both Malay and English Languages. Most rooms were air-conditioned so there was no need to rush through everything just to escape the heat. It is a huge place so it took more than 1 hours and half to go through everything. Overall, a good experience. ❤️ #mymymemories #happytrip #awesomepic #mustcome #besttimeever #best_trip_by_trip #bestdeal #awesometrip #tripcom
